but not the kind that hands you affirmations and sends you on your way hoping for the best.

I spent years watching brilliant women make themselves so small, so palatable, so easy to digest, that the world just walked past them.

And I know exactly what that feels like.
Because I did it too.

I made myself quieter. More agreeable. Less… much.
I told myself it was humility. It wasn’t. It was fear dressed up as politeness.

Maybe that’s where you are right now.
